advantages and disadvantages of being a medical assistant?

what a someone whos been in the medical assistant profession for at least a year thanks the advantages and disadvantages are.

hey there i am a medical assistant advantages are being able to get in any field and work..disadvantages are being trained to do lvn and rn work and not getting paid that good to do it. My first job in the medical field after receiving my certificate was at an abortion clinic which was depressing. then i got into the eye profession which is pretty cool lots of offices dont recognize M.A.'s if i could do it all over i would have taken out my loan to go all the way and become a RN instead of a MA
