Canker sores. Keep rinsing with the salt water, it will take a few days for them to go away.

Tea leaves, orange and black, will help with the pain and speed healing. You can also use ice, place a piece of ice on the sore for 5 minutes several times a day. Cancor sores are cause by a virus that is triggered by stress and in some people certain foods. There are several over the counter products but I have found that the wet tea leaves work the best. Just take a tea bag and seep for several minutes. If the tea is too bitter you can add sugar.

Mouth sores (aphthous stomatitis) are oral lesions (caused by bacteria) that will heal without a scar in about 15 days. These sores appeared when your body is not 100% healthy or you are having stress (menstruation) or on drugs, or not keeping your mouth clean (brushing teeth or using Listerine). To get it of sores:
1) Use Listerine after eating, before going to sleep and upon wakening up
2) Eat yogurt so the bacteria in yogurt will wipe out your oral bacteria
3) Get some vitamin called niacin
4) Avoid eating solid sweets (cake, candy, gum, pie, etc..)
5) Manage your stress and be happy!!!
Best wishes

Rinse your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide for about 1 minute several times a day. Or, if that grosses you out too much, then cleanse the affected area(s) with a swab (Q-tip) soaked in hydrogen peroxide. The sores should go away in a week to 14 days. If they get worse and worse, then you may have to see a doctor.

Orajel or some other oral medicine that numbs the sore. You can pick it up at CVS or Walgreens.

Is it on your lips or in your mouth. You may want to see a dr about it if it's on your lips..that could be herpes.
It it's in your mouth, then you have a canker sore and those are usually caused by stress or eating especialy acidic foods.

Kankaid is a product that works for me. I get it at Walmart.

Dulls the pain and helps it heal. Still takes about a week but tends to keep other ones from forming.

I assume these are cancer sores from Herpes simplex 1 (simular virus to genital herpes but i your mouth). This is a nasty virus that will be with you all your life. Everytime you are stressed they pop up. Diet, excercise, rest, all effect when and how long you get them.

Sometimes and I'm also a major wiseass. I mouthed off at one of our local politicos today and I've been doing that too often. I'm afraid I'm going to come to a bad end involving an out of control city vehicle!
