I'm sorry, what's your question? If I could answer your own question, would I? or if I could answer any question would I? What about if the answer to the question was the question itself, then would I even need to answer it?

I wouldn't be asking the question if I knew the answer BUT if I do find an answer, I would like to be able to add it to the answers... not for the points but just to be able to give the proper answer.

I asked a question before about trying to reply back to someone who contacted me through email from Y! Answers and I never got an answer that was meaningful. My question had nothing to do with rather or not I had the persons correct email but that's what the one and only answer I got said. If people email you from here, they should at least set up their preferences so they can receive replies when they state in their emails "email me back" and don't give you that option.

Got off track.... sorry. But yes, I would like the option of being able to answer some of my own questions at a later date....

Well if I could answer my own questions i wouldn't have questions. I'd have this bunch of information floating around somewhere in my head.

Yahoo Questions is intended for you to ask questions to which you genuinely need answers. Not questions to which you already have the answers.

After saying all that crap above, I would REALLY LOVE to be able to answer most of my questions, and not once either!

Why would I want to ask a question if I know the answer and I'm going to answer it later?? To get 10 points from yourself??

we always have the answers to what we are asking
its just that sometimes we want to confirm them, may be cause we wanna be sure about what we are about to do..
or we dont want to feel out of place....
its always a better feeling to know that someone out there thinks like you....

If you already had an answer, why would you ask in the first place?

2006-08-16 05:11:19 · answer #8 · answered by tweetymay 6 · 1 0

no. if i could, i wouldn't ask them. which brings another question: if you ask a question, and then remove it, do you get your two points back? and if you do, do the people who answered the question get to keep their two points?
