terrorism to end than to go to war and deal with this issue now.
If the radical Islam can manage to persuade the world that they are good guys then we will have another Hitler. They do not care for human life. They hate infidels. So why not deal with this issue now before it escalates even further.

We already know that Iran is supporting terrorist cells across the globe. It’s like the dems actually deny the existence of terrorist.

exactly!
Just take the events that happend during the Clinton administration. They did nothing then about it and will continue to do nothing about it if re-elected. They would probably still be analyzing polling data today about what the response should be after 9/11 had they been put in office in 2000. Instead of taking action.

The problem isn't what the Democrats want to do. The members of their party that are most vocal are also the most strongly pacifist. Many do not believe in fighting they think that if they reach out they can reason with terrorists. Of course there are some people who can be reasoned with however when a group decides that regardless of your beliefs or stance that your entire nation needs to be destroyed, then it's time to put boot to *** and eliminate the threat before it manifests in another major terror attack. Look at Senator Liberman he lost his party's nomination on the basis that he was too hawkish by standing by the troops and the President. However in recent polls he still leads the state when you look at the entire ballot with both the democrats and republicans in the mix.

I'm not a democrat, but I feel that terrorism cannot be eliminated, as it is a tactic that has been used since the beginning of time. Since 9/11, the term has been subjectified (ie: calling democrats terrorists). I feel that if a war cannot be won, why fight it? I also believe that understanding your enemy is key. These people live differently than you or I , and it is possible that 'democracy' and other bits of western culture will not be successful there. The answer is out there, but I don't feel that we are looking for it (or at least not in the right places). I also believe that the key to DIMINISHING terrorism is to go after the recruitment. But that's just my opinion. I have a question open right now, if you care to answer...and thanks for getting back to some real questions!

I'm Republican, but I think your statement is too general. I don't believe they would rather wait it out, I just don't agree with how they want to deal with it. Terrorist have become so radical in their thinking that they cannot be as diplomatic as many Democrats believe they can be, and being proactive is the only answer. On the opposite side of the coin, I hope we our motives are more pure and not political. It can be just as damaging to attack the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Good intelligence, precision attacks.

You tell me who the terrorists are, and I will support a war against them. The problem is the terrorists are fringe groups, not directly associated with any government or country, and they are embedded within communities of innocent civilians. There is no way we can fight a war on terrorism unless we first figure out who and where they are. Otherwise, we look like terrorists ourselves when we indiscriminately destroy innocent life.

Whoa, TJ - that way too simplistic and full of truth for libs like JimW to understand. They have been blinded with hate and emotion runs their thoughts rather than logic.
When you think you are smarter than everyone else sometimes you miss the simple truth!

"They do not care for human life"
How very wrong you are my friend.
No-one in the Democratic party ever said the terrorists were"good guys",unless they strayed far from the party itself.
We democrats have proudly fought in all American wars and have
given whatever sacrifice was asked of us to defend this beatiful country we are blessed to call home.
And you try to smear our patriotism as a desperate election year trick when Republicans stand to lose.
You little worm.HOW can you be so hateful?
I wish you to find the very peace that the Democratic Party has wished on and fought tirelessly to bring to all of America and all the world!
