How would you respond?

Question

If you are just going about day to day, nothing new, when suddenly, someone you don't even know starts chatting to you like an old pal. They could be the same age, older, younger, whatever. Imagine yourself in that situation and describe how you would feel about the encounter.

I WOULD probobly be happy to have someone talk to me this way. specially because of my situation right now. AS you know, we have our own friends that we spend time with and have near by, but i think its so nice to talk to people that are away from you (like an internet relationship) since this allows you to express yourself freely about anything.

Hmmm... i would think that the person is playing truth or dare and that he has been told, as a dare, to befriend the first stranger he sees . or that he is trying to be outgoing and to make friends. It depends on the appearance on the person, but knowing my general paranoia, i'd be a little freaked out...I'd be like, "whats going on?"

That happens to me often, I guess I look like a good listener, I usually verbally acknowlegdge their conversation, but it is often awkward especially when they talk excessively and like you said, as if they have known you for years. I often mentally plan ways to escape, but ultimately get caught up longer than anticipated.

I just look at them and say, "Do I know you?"

People come up to me all the time asking me how my daughter is and whatnot and I have never seen them before in my life. Best I can figure is they saw pics of me from my ex.
