I did a tatoo on my leg when I was younger with a little cap full of ink from a bic pen and a sewing needle. Make sure you sterilize the needle so you dont get the flesh eating disease of anything. It came out pretty cool looking. Its like a prison tatoo. The rest of these people are tools. Its no different than a needle in a tatoo gun and the ink is non-toxic. You only have to penetrate the skin like 1/16" or less. If your drawing blood, you're going too deep.

I don't think doing this to yourself is worth it. What is so important that you have to tattoo something by yourself to your body? If you really need it, get it done professionally. If you do something wrong alone, you won't be able to fix it. It doesn't sound very safe to me, and whatever important thing it is I hope it doesn't have to do with some guy or peer pressure. Anyways, pen ink probably won't last.

I wouldn't recommend it, but my brother did it. He did a pattern and a phrase, it doesn't look great, but he never got any infections. He used a normal needle but he used India Ink, don't use ink straight out of a pen. You can get India Ink at any craft store.

please do not do it, wait until you can afford a good tattoo artist then go do it by a pro. homade tattooes are dangerous (INFECTIONS), say classless, and are ugly. DO NOT USE A REGULAR SEWING NEEDLE, tattooes can be beautiful if done right by an artist. trust me I've seen lots of homemade ones and they suck. they say trailer park all over. Nothing bad about living @ a trailer just don't try to look it

yes you can do a tattoo this way... many prison tat's are done in a similar fashion... however, the risk of infection is high and you should rather go to a professional... also ttattoo's don't just go away... so be sure that what you write is something you'd be proud to have your grnkids see one day...

HOW GHETTO!!! just save $50.00 and get a professional one. My motto is if you can't pay cash for something or if you're gonna poison yourself, you probably should re-think the importance of what you want.

yes but it is a very bad, bad idea. Draw it on light and see how you like it. If it is good go to a pro to have it done. It will suck to do it you self and have to pay latter for a pro do correct the problem. My advice is to nver do it but if you must go to a pro
