You have a problem with your body image. You may not have an eating disorder now, but might be at risk for developing one. Perhaps maybe you might want to seek the help of a mental health professional.

It sounds as though you could be suffering from some sort of eating disorder, even if you don't think you are. If you are eating normally but exercising excessively [and yes, nine hours a week is excessive], you might be suffering from a form of bulimia - one in which over-exercise the calories away instead of vomit them up.

The thing that really makes me think you have some sotr of eating disorder if that people are telling you that you are thin but yuo don't see it. This is a classic sign of an eating disorder, along with always worrying about your weight.

Just to be safe, why not go to a doctor? He or she can maybe lay some of your weight issues to rest and - if nothing else - will shut up your friends. Good luck!

You probably have high metabolism or even an over active thyroid. Go to your doctor and have a talk about it. He will tell you how much you should weigh and check for problems if he has concerns. Fat people get told they are fat skinny people get told they are too skinny everyone is different and unless you fall in the majority build type you will always get comments. I have a friend who looses weight if she does not eat like a pig all day we are talking 6 meals and snacks a day. Her metabolism is so high she is always trying to keep weight on, I use to envy her because I get fat easy then when I found out she was getting her feelings hurt by comments and had to eat when she was not hungry so she would not loose 5 pounds I started to realize everyone has issues you just don't always know it.

Nothing is wrong with you. If you are constantly obsessing about food and your weight, you may have some form of an eating disorder. Thinking about food and losing weight should not be the primary focus of each of your days. Deep down, I'm sure you know if this is an issue for you or not. Do your friends just note that you are thin, or do they express concern about your well-being? If you do decide you need help, ask for it. I did, and my life is much better for it.

I feel the same way.... my family is always like " you're too thin for your age... blah blah blah" I have been to a doctor, and thy said that everything was fine. the reason my family thinks that, is because I only eat like 4 times a day, with reasonably big healthy portions.I also have a very girlish skinny body frame, so i have like almost no fat anywhere. but you may be different...you may have a very fast metabolism, or you may just have a skinny frame, like me, and you're lucky that way if you do. But just to make sure, go to a doctor, so he/she can check if you have a problem, such as a fast metabolism, that could cause you being so skinny! hope I helped!

You could be in the early stages of anorexia. Most anorexics are in denial.

You're emotionally anorexic. You're also just an average girl. We all worry.

It can probably just be your genes. If one of your parents is skinny as well...there you are.
If you don't feel anything wrong with your body don't worry.

Skinny is hot
(so is chubby!!)

your friends may deny this but all women about their weight. i read in this book called captivating, that the evil one is jealous of women because god once made him beautiful but made women beautiful inside and out. the evil one tries to make us dobt ourselves in anyway he can. i try not to listen to the dobts that he puts in my head. i try to remember that god made me like this and to Him, i am beautiful. so are you!
