PGA doesn't allow golf carts. You might recall the lawsuit brought by a golfer named Casey Martin several years ago. He has a degenerative leg condition that makes walking for long periods difficult and he needed to use a cart.

in case you suspect approximately which you will stroll a minimum of 10 feet according to shot on the golf green, 30 feet for each tee field, and a minimum of a hundred feet according to green. which would be (30*18) + (a hundred * 18) + (30 * 10). think approximately while you're no longer allowed tochronic to the ball from off the cart direction you are able to upload yet another (12 * one hundred fifty to 2 hundred feet). which would be approximately 1680 yds. which would be slighty much less then a mile. that doesn't think touching directly to the stroll to a restroom or snack bar or checking out of bounds in case you lost a ball, so upload approximately yet another 0.5 mile. stable success

It's not that they want to, it's part of the rules. There was a big deal made about a pro who had a dificulty walking and wheater he would be permitted to use a cart.
It's that simple

golf is not a riding game, it's a walking game. carts have ruined the true meaning of golf. it's so the greedy golf mongers can make an extra buck
