friends are a rare and wonderful, people think that if they hang out every day with someone that it makes them friends wrong very wrong, friendships are very special and not often missed when one is in a loving friendship, just because you see or around someone a lot does not make them your friend there is no place to find a good friend most of the time you have to make the friendship build and nurture it most friends form from child hood or school years but you can also meet them when you move but trust me if someone is talking behind your back every time you leave you better believe that she not a friend and far from it lol friendships take time and most of the time you will click right away and then you will no it's not easy so don't try so hard true friends will come along unless your the problem check that out also ask people what kind of friend do they think you are to them maybe you might need a little work

The best thing to do is be a good trust worthy friend. Occasionally your trust will be broken, this is a given. I find that friends who repeat things, stories or things other people have said, are much more likely to blurt a secret.

The best test is this, it is not perfect, ask them a question. If they say they do know the answer or give a simple short answer if they do, then they can be trusted. If they attempt to answer the question, even if it requires them to pause for a long time or they fabricate an answer then they are more prone to disclosure. I got that test from my 2nd year Psych prof.
