its a great idea, you should serve some thai food, there are no good thai places in kolkata

I don't know the budget of your plan, let us assume your budget is lower to mid, for this if you open a restaurant in the area of Camac Street for launch then it would be superb.
If your budget is high then go for the area of city centre or Salt Lake area for multi cusine with hard drinks.
