I've asked myself this for while but kept forgetting about it....why do females prefer to wear open toe heels rather then ones that aren't?

Well, think about it. You're wearing a shoe that is three inches tall in back and your foot keeps sliding down. The toe is pointy, so all your toes are forcefully crammed together in a pointy fashion, which is EXTREMELY painful. Open toed shoes don't do that. "If high-heels were so comfortable, men would still be wearing them."

Some outfits call for open toe shoes... Its more of a summery look.
Clothes toe are move professional look and pretty much go with only professional wear.

Open toe shoes are cuter than closed toe shoes.
Closed toe shoes are more for business or somber events.
I'm not sure all women prefer open toe shoes, but for those that do it is because they are a fun way to jazz up your look!

I wouldn't wear shoes at all if I didn't have to, so being able to wear sandals & other open toe shoes in the summer is wonderful. Plus one can show off a pedicure.

They are always so pretty. We like to look down and
see our own well groomed toes. Most of them are
more comfortable too, if they're well constructed and
if they fit right. Closed toed shoes pinch your toes
if they are heels just by the laws of gravity. Open toes
let you feel freer and they just look sexy which boosts
confidence and appeal.

Well in closed-toe heels your toes are scrunches together because the tips are so tiny!!!! Whereas open-toe shoes are much more comfortable because your toes arent' squished!!!

Because we have pretty toes and want them to show and get air instead of being all stuff in a shoe

prefrence, diffrent outfits, sometimes open toe looks great with a pair of jeans sometimes it looks bad and a close toed shoe works better. Some women want to show off their nail polish lol.
