There is a working farm near me which is free to enter and the only real costs are a bag of animal feed (about 50p) and probably an ice cream (about £2). Keeps my 6 and 3 yaer old entertained for hours. Only problem is from cow, sheep and goat slobber after you feed them!!!!!

I live in the Midlands but is there anything like that near you?

emm i don't really know whats in north east of London but why not try and get them to a museum some of the things there are really interesting or go out for a picnic or a good walk somewhere emm or try looking on the net for some things that are going on like mabe there are some festivals?? or markets that are on oh i like carboots myself so mabe you could take them there and teach them how to spot a good bargin hope this might help i don't have kids myself so not really sure but i am young and kinda know what there like
