why doesnt anyone believe me?

why does no one believe
1) there seriously is a monster under my bed
2) that im a 13 year old vampire
3) that i like led zeppelin, no one believes me, theyre always like "do you even know who led zeppelin are or are you just wearing that shirt?" it pisses me off!!!!!

If you believe in the monster under your bed will it actually be there?If you believe you're a vampire will you turn into a bat?If you put a cat in a box and it dies is it dead already before you look into the box?If a tree is cut down and no one hears it fall did it actually fall?

Maggie, here is one way to think about this that might help.

Consider this: "An extraordinary claim requires extraordinary proof".

For most people, a monster under the bed is a WAY extraordinary claim. Also, most people are sure that there are no vampires, so if they hear you claim that you are one, they will see that as a hugely extraordinary claim.

To believe you, they will have to have some really complete and total proof. This has nothing to do with you - they would react the same way to these claims if anyone else made them. It's not personal.

I don't know what to say about the Led Zeppelin issue - I like them too! Being 13 doesn't mean you can't know about them and like their music.

i believe you, although if there is seriously some kind of mean spiritual entities living under your bed you need to do something about it --

A reply to the person above me who said that the coming of age for vampires is 16 - that's not necessarily true. The onset typically occurs when you start puberty, and I suspect you can be born with it, although it is rare. It all depends on when you start puberty -- for guys, obviously, it is a little later (probably around 16) since girls start before them. :-)

Well, I can buy the led zepplin thing, and I can even consider the vampirisim.

But the monster? That's just my imaginare friend Jorge.....He's very nice if youfeed him republicans and milk at night. Everything else gives him heartburn, so if you've been feeding him anything else, that's why he's been cranky.
