If you want to look like a professional, then pumps it is. They can be classy, or sexy. The height of the heel determines that. :)
Or, if you want to look like you came from the beach, then flip-flops.
Just remember, if you're going to wear any footwear that is open-toed, make sure your toenails are nicely done.

Pumps or at least a shoe with a heel. Flip flops are very unprofessional.

depends on where youre taking the pics, on a beach or outdoor: wear flip flops, wearing dressy clothes: pumps

I'm no expert on fashion and I'm not even a girl, but I KNOW for a FACT that flip flops are UNACCEPTABLE in the professional world.
