First of all, you're going to have to leave the door on the cabinet open for a very long time. Seeing as you've tried everything on the market - you're probably going to have to paint the shelf. All the chemicals will have made the smell worse, I'm afraid. I hope you've thrown all the other food out.

I hate to say it, but you may need to replace that piece of cabinet. The pressed board can be quite absorbant and the odor may never come out. Cut out the gross area and replace with a new piece of pressed board. It shouldn't be too expensive and you can get it at a local Loews or Home Depot. Also, it it is inside of the cabinet you shouldn't be able to see the repair.

There is a product that uses sound science for the breakdown of odors, and that is T-2. It uses titanium dioxide as a catalyst, and is non-toxic. Their smallest applicator sells for under $20.00. I'd certainly give it a try before demo-ing cabinets:

Wow, that sounds awful. Toxic spill! Sounds like you need to take everything out(if you haven't already) and put a thick layer of baking soda on the area. That will absorb the smell. Make sure to leave the door open so it gets a chance to air out, too.

Try taking every thing out of the cupboard and then filling it with crumpled up newspaper. Shut the cupboard doors tightly and leave closed up for a few days or longer. Remove the newspapers and refill with fresh crumpled newspaper if the smell remains. You may even want to leave newspapers crumpled in the cupboard if you close up your cabin for the winter. The newspapers should absorb the bad odor. I used newspapers in a basket that had spoiled sweet potatoes in it and the smell is gone although I was not able to remove the stain.

Take the shelf paper out clean it out good with baking soda/water paste then when its dry sprinkle some baking soda in it, leave it for a day or two, clean it out good so the paper will stick again. You can do the same with the plasticware if its not replacable. (I've had the same problem and baking soda works wonders)

Paint the cabinet offending shelf with Alkyd (oil) based paint high gloss. That'll seal up the odor.

Have you tried baking soda? Try sprinkling some on the offending stain & then keep a couple of open boxes in there too.
