That's a dumb question for anyone to have asked you. It's a large city, and among the largest cities in the U.S. Any large city will have crime. I am born and raised here and lived here all my life, except for 4 years in college. The people that ask you this must be from small towns. I've never been subjected to crime either. It depends on where you live in Philly. There are some areas those idiots could never afford, such as Society Hill or Rittenhouse Square. BTW, Philly isn't on the 'Most Dangerous Cities' list, but across the river, Camden, NJ is #1.

I agree, i admire Philly! I stay interior the suburbs, yet i'm constantly interior the city. The worst section is in all likelihood Kensington, yet once you're sparkling of that section, it incredibly is enormously plenty fantastic!

I never had any problems when I was there and actually like it very much compared to other cities I've been in.
