I have a black ipod nano and it was working fine. It's not that old. A few months maybe. (bought it in March) now when i hit play it goes to the song but then it just keeps scrolling and scrolling and won't stop. WHat's wrong with it? Shoudl I just sell it to my friend for 120 dollars and let him deal with it??

Mine did this. It turned out that the songs it was scrolling through had be lost on the ipod, so I had to bring reinstall them all again. I also have a black nano, and I was freaked out because I only got it in February. Simply replace all your songs and it should be fine.

How bout you just turn it off, then turn it on again, but leave it for a few minutes off. Or reset it, and put all your songs on there all over again. And no! Don't sell it to your friend for $120! It's your friend! Would you like it if he/she gave you an iPod that doesn't work and paid that much money AND can't fix it?

Just find the reset button or go to the store where you bought it or see if you can download a manual of your ipod online. Or call 1-800-MY-APPLE.
