Frankly, the chances are tiny that you will ever even cut a CD. You would have to be pretty, thin, original, have an excellent voice and dancing abilities, and get noticed by some important producer in order to be the next Britney. Why not aim to be something a little more reasonable, like a teacher or nurse?

Well you don't need any talent whatsoever. You can sing about the most stupid things, have a horrible voice, not write your own songs, sample other songs and make millions of dollars!! Just like all the other teeny bopper singers out there!! It doesn't take much to be a super star!

Passion, drive, X-factor and talent!
There are a number of books out there that you can read I know the local library had one titled 'How to be a popstar'
If you buy the 'Stage' newspaper there are a number of auditions going and there is also a great site called beonscreen.

You definitely have to be able to sing and unfortunately these days you've got to have a certain look or X factor. You also need a DECENT song material. Gig around pubs or do what Lilly Allen ? did and get on my space and sing via the web and see what response you get. Good luck x

You have to be a member of the Lucky Sperm Club. If your parents are rich and connected, you, too, can be a pop star.

Audition for one of the talent shows like Am. Idol or get a talent agent and work hard.

to be a pop star first of all one should have a confidence and secondly he/she should have a soft and lovely voice that's all in my sense.

First remove your brain, have lots cosmetic surgery, learn to speak in grunts, and develop a good level of narcissism.
