If you want to design buildings, parks, and bridges, study architecture.

If you want to sit at a desk in a cubicle for years and years, trying to sell things to people, study business administration.

I'd pick architecture because it will give you more flexibility later in life. Business administration is a little too specific and there are many people going into this field. You'll face more competition and have less freedom within this job.

Have you considered public administration as opposed to business administration? It would give you more flexibility as well. Get your master's in planning (MURP-- masters in urban and regional planning) and you'll be set. You can also go for you MURP after majoring in architecture. You'll find that degree gives you maximum freedom and flexibility because it qualifies you to do much in a variety of fields.

Good luck!

If your major is Business Management, I would leave it like that. If your major is Business Administration, change it.

Even i have also graduated from school in march.....in SCIENCE stream....but in my city , luckily there is a college which offers architecture...and i have decided to do that since i have no idea about commerce.....nowadays every field is equally important...bba has its own importance...and architecturing has its own importance...
i would prefer you go for architecturing if u have graduated from science stream...otherwise you can go for business administration....
Its all upto you!
You have to decide...
You can choose better for yourself...

Getting an AIA degree is a long process -- and bailing out in the middle is going to leave you with very little. So if you're going to study achitecture you should be sure that you want to stick with it. If your passions lie with designing buildings, then I would spend more time around architects. Do an internship, etc.

Choose the career *you* like the most doing, not the one that "people say will give you better job opportunity"...

If you really love doing something and are good at it, you will succeed. Do what you like doing, only you can figure what that is.
Don't choose a career based on its job opportunities, that's the choice of a mediocre.

Depends, do you want to build things or manipulate numbers. Think about your career goals and choose your education path accordingly. Other people can give you advice on what to study but they can't live your life for you. Only you can do that.

architecture seems the most interesting, but if you start with just your core classes until the "the faculty [opens] in [your] city" then you can transfer your credits.
