i arise around 6 each and every morning. My 13 12 months previous gets up at 6:15 and is on the bus at 7:10. My 6 and 9 12 months olds arise at 7:00 and get on the bus at 8:00. My 2 a million/2 12 months previous and 10 month previous many times dont arise till 7:30. My only suggestion would be to get each and every thing waiting the night before. i'm getting their bags packed up, lunches made or lunch money waiting and snacks and waterbottles waiting too. in the event that they desire a notice for something I positioned that throughout their bag at night additionally. if it relatively is all waiting so all they might desire to do is consume and dress, possibly you would be waiting to sleep a splash later. stable luck!

it totally depends on the district in my system elementary starts anywhere from 7:30- 8:30 putting kids on the bus about the same time. HS in our district STARTS at 7:05-1:30, my cousin is on the bus at 545 (that's nuts!!!!!). MS does not start until 9:45 and gets out 4:05 most of those kids don't get home until 5-5:30 (that's almost as nuts as the HS students!!!!) Many districts have such absurd hours because of paying bus drivers, or not having enough, trying to cut back because of gas prices and many other reasons.

If you live in the rural areas and your child needs to ride the bus to get to school, then I'm afraid you have little choice other than to drive your kid to school. I think it's weird that you're complaining about something that is actually providing a service for you. I don't know what time your kid normally gets up but 6:45 is not early to be asked to be ready for the bus.

Hiya,
I don't think it's nuts, I think it is just part & parcel of our lifestyles today. My kids were having to get up at 6:30am every day to get me to work on time. It didn't seem fair to wake them so early. I have since changed jobs & I now get up alone at 5:40am.
I would say that there are a lot of kids getting on buses at that time of day.
8-3 is a long day though!!! Even if you ignore the time that he is on the bus, that's still tough on a 6 year old. Aren't there any other schools he could go to? (easier said than done I know)

no, because it takes the bus along time to pick all those kids up. my 6 yr old son goes to daycare and they take him to school. so you should consider another way for him to get to school if you cant take him and if you dont want him on the bus that early. also see how early you can get him to school because you may work with your schedule or if he can ride with a friend or someone from your neighborhood, there are other options you just got to look and find them, GOOD LUCK :)

No its not nuts its the bus schedule. I dont understand the question. Do you want the bus drivers to drive faster? You know you could do something for your shild and take them to school yourself i know this personal attention is unheard of north of the mason dixson. No excuses, if your job wont allow this then you need to find a new job!

That's insane. I catch the bus at 6:50...and that's high school. But elementary age students should not have to wake that early; it's ridiculous.

Yes, mother. I agree with you, wholeheartedly. Schools are opening and closing earlier and earlier. Parents who love their children and enjoy caring for them are going to have to vocalize their input into the timing of school openings and closings in order to prevent those who just want their children out of the house from turning schools into "day care" institutions and boarding institutions. It is ridiculous to have a minor of any age on a bus to school before 7:30AM in my personal opinion because it is still dark outside. In addition to that, summer vacations and spring breaks are getting shorter and shorter. All of these changes in times do not amount to progress!

he probably wont have a hard time with it to be honest..i am nanny of three boys and they love getting up early...i dont understand why, but I think that 6:45 is still pretty early, you will just have to get him on the routine asap,,and try to have him to bed by 9 at the latest so he is getting enough sleep.
Good Luck
