Was a Terror attack just averted, or were these peole just nuts?

CNN reports that a plane taking off from Heathrow Airport was diverted after three passengers confronted the flight crew. This pane was to land in Washington, D.C. but was diveted to boston. msnbc says that a woman had a srcrwdriver and a lighter on the plane with her. Terrorists, or nutjobs? your call. The plane has landed safely

Vasiline was also found. That's a little scary

This incident fortunately was not terror oriented. The passenger displayed some very atypical behavior and refused to cooperate with airline officials. Today we fly the "unfriendly" skies and it isn't productive to display poor behavior or to disagree with regulatory requirements as they are designed to keep the public safe. This lady has some background with mental problems which probably led to her making some poor choices. Thank goodness that this was contained and the actions/re-actions did not escalate into a major incident.

Had the woman co-operated, the mess would not have been created. We all have responsibility to co-operate with security and crew staff. Obviously she was mentally sick. Laws made must be respected.

I used to grease up a screwdriver with some lube and light it on fire and insert it in various orafices to entertain my fellow passengers and earn tips.

Now my livelihood has been taken away from me and I don't know what I am going to do.
