i mean seriously.....why is it slutty? i have one and im not a slut. its a piece of art. my back is the only big amount of space i have to work with if i want something decent sized. i dont understand how that makes me a "tramp"

It's just another mindless stereotype.....be who you are, having a tattoo on your lower back doesn't make you a tramp anymore than walking into McDonald's makes you a burger :) For some reason we have an over abundance of ignorant people who have nothing better to do than come up with labels for people!! You go girl, I bet it looks fantastic on you!

Nothing can make you a tramp unless you are, but if there is a social stigma against something, you will be labelled by it. If you wish to avoid being called a tramp, avoid getting tattoos. In the end you must evaluate if it is more important to get some ink or be unbothered. Look at the consequences of both actions before you make your choice.

They are referred as the tramp stamp because the person who has a tattoo on the lower back is most likely trying to get the other persons attention in that area. If it's on a girl and the girl is wearing a half shirt %99 percent of the guys walking by would not look at her face. If it's on a dude, the dude is probably gay or is a porn actor.

this tattoo is overdone and seems unoriginal at this point...the tramp stamp is mostly that one that has a guy's name on it--can you say "marked territory?"
and the worst is the one with the girl's own name--it looks like a reminder to whoever's back there of what name to scream out...yikes
but in defense of those whose tats are not so in-your-face and done delicately and appropriately(?) nobody thinks "tramp stamp"--unless of course it's just some hater or someone jealous or someone intimidated is the one looking on.

Not back tattoos... LOWER back tattoos. They are tramp stamps because the only time you see them is when someone dresses like a tramp... low low rise pants and a short shirt.

Its a lot like truckers who wear belts with their names on the back part of the belt.
A crude joke follows guys like that.
Same for chicks with tats on the back.
A lot of people visualize the back tats as some kind of message when engaged in doggie-style sex.
And I'm sure that there is probably some truth to that for some chicks.
So, the talk gets around and next thing you know, ALL chicks are branded with that kind of trash talk.
If you truly are a decent, polite, well-mannered person, then just blow it off.
It's all talk anyway.

Most of it came from the movie "Wedding Crashers", they were the ones to say it looked like a bulls eye. And generally when you see a tattoo on a girls back it is so low that you can also see her thong. And when you can see a girls panty's how virtous can she be? I think that is the general consenous
