Three-part question. Address all issues, or no chance for the 10. (I'm a lot fairer than the refs in that game.)

THE SUPER BOWL THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY FOREVER!!

1. How can a "professional" team of ANY ilk be willing to accept the trophy after such a obviously-fixed game? Should they not have done the honorable thing and refused the piece-of-crap trophy, thus benchmarking for all time, their sportsmanship and credentials as gentlemen? And perhaps effecting thereby an terribly overdue clean-up of professional "sports"?

2. Is P!ssburg such a has-been town that residents are willing to celebrate theft and actually feel no remorse that the municipal identity has become an object of redicule and scorn?

3. The rules state quite clearly that end of play stops the movement of the ball. In that moment that resides on the DVDs of 100,000s of homes, the carrier very obviously looked down after his forward movement has been halted, saw the ball was inches from a TD and then moved it!

I agree. Even though I wanted them 2 win, Ben R. did move the ball and it shouldn't have counted. It's pittsburgh, btw (My cuz used 2 live by there, so I'm kinda insulted, but wutever) It might have been an accident, but that was rly cheap. But it doesn't rly matter cuz they won by more than 1 touchdown.

Since it's obvious that you are a Seahawks fan, how can we take this question seriously? Unless we agree with you, you will dismiss all claims to the contrary. Oh and btw--when you call them the Pissburgh Steelrs, you make it an open invitation to pound you verbally.

When, oh when will Seahawk fans stop whining and crying that their team was robbed??? And the conspiracy theories--I'm still waiting in breathless anticipation for someone to come out and say Osama Bin Laden was behind this travesty as well.

The Seahawks weren't robbed--they were outplayed. Dead simple. Get over it--take up knitting or something--move on. The Super Bowl was 6 months ago. Can't you find something else to focus on?? Honestly! It also says in the rules that when the referee rules, his ruling stands. Even with instant replay, if he rules one way, that's it. It's great to Monday morning quarterback what happened--but you weren't on the field reffing the game when it happened and you didn't see whta the refs saw.

If the situation were reversed, your question would be an argument in how the Pissburgh Steelers were whiners who lost fair and square and how their fans are losers and how the rules are rules and what is ruled on the field stands.

I guess it depends on which side you are on--doesn't it? Unfortunatley you happen to be on the losing side. :)

Exactly how old are you? Better yet, how much did you lose on the "Bowl"? We all have seen refs boot calls all season & thru the playoffs, but the fact remains, the cards were stacked against the Steelers throughout the playoffs & they hung tough and did what was said to be impossible. You can't blame the refs for Seattle's lousy performance(dropped passes, terrible clock management, penalties, poor game plan, shoddy blocking) & the Steeler "D" gave the Seaducks fits all day. The refs didn't cause the HUGE CHOKE that the whole country saw.. Quit cryin" before you get dehydrated. You've got a whole new season to rationalize now. Enjoy!

Wow!
As a Browns fan, I enjoy ribbing "Picksburg Stiller" fans because most are raving moronic fanatics but dude, let this one go. It was last year and if they want to savor a cheap victory, pretending it was something it wasn't, let them have it and be content with the realization that they are just idiots. Their team was good but the officiating in last years playoffs was horrendous. The Indy game, then the "penalty" on Hasslebeck's superb tackle, pass interference... this kind of stuff can take the enjoyment out of a great sport.

Anyway, it's a near year. Everyone starts out 0-0 except... to me it feels like my Brownies are 0-1 already...

Over the past 2 years they have lost their best WR's except for Hines ward. Plaxico Burres and Antwan Randle El. it will be different without the buss too but they'll live through it.

Are you really this ignorant and infantile? Grow up you little biatch. Take away Ben's touchdown and you still lost. Deal with it. I can't believe some little biatch is still crying about this.
You will never make it through life, as a cry baby. Life is a whole lot more unfair than any football game.

Who gives a **** you cry baby - we'll give you the damn TD that Ben scored. We still win 14-10 dumbass. Wanna take away Willies 75 yd run and Randle El's pass to Ward? Suck it up and deal with the *** kicking like Indy and Denver did, you don't hear them whining.

I wonder, why pale skinned avatars are so inclined to direct answer towards race. It make it so very obvious how oblivious they are to the fact that their jealousy is ever so apparent to everyone reading.

Mike Homgren....is this you?

First off it doesnt matter what you think about the game. The Steelers got one for the thumb and thats all that matters. I am from PITTSBURGH and let me tell you, come down to Heinz field on any given Sunday and tell people your feelings. Im sure they would all agree with you and invite you to tailgate with them. HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO
