As you can tell by my avatar, my ideal profession is nursing. I'll be entering the world of nursing in one year (I'm in my last year of nursing school) and I'm so excited. I've done a few different clinical placements and once I get into community nursing I'll be in my "ideal" setting.

Legal secretary. You can get top pay without a college education. In the Bay Area (San Francisco and Palo Alto) for instance, a legal secretary can earn $60 to $70k a year. Not bad for only having a high school education. It is a very challenging and rewarding career choice also.

Mine is working in public relations or publicity, mostly related to the entertainment industry. I'm not in it now, but I'm taking classes for it in school and will hopefully be interning in that area come Spring.

I don't know. I enjoy what I'm doing now, but I am not sure if it is "ideal" or not.

Being a professional novelist.
I write, but I haven't sold anything yet. I write for my paying job too, but not fiction. (Well, it's not SUPPOSED to be fiction, anyway.)
