How can the Un face the world after admitting it may take up to a year to get the full compliment of troops into Leabanon. They also have ignored resoultion 1559 and I think France was behind that insult to Israel. What is the point of having more UN observers in Lebanon if they are not going to disarm Hezbollah and keep more weapons out of that country??
When Israel has to take on the terrorist again they should start in Demascus and Tehran and work back to lebanon.

Using the French, as any example of a peace keeping force, defensive force, aggressive force, problem solving force, in any military situation, is ludicrous, and inane.
IE: 25 plus years fighting the Viet Nam situation, with no resolutions,,,other than for the USA to get involved and take the heat.

I will not react to what some people say. My answer is not a provocation... But...
I would like to know why your country is supporting Israel.
Except the fact that Israel buys guns and weapons to the US, and except your interest for their gas, why does your country accept to support this country?
It is not a provocation but I guess we do not have the same stories in our medias?
I am not saying either that my country is true. but what is your vision?
France is not alone in the UN. The whole UN is behind this decision.
Countries like Norway, agree with the FINUL (Italy, Marocco, Indonesia, Turkia, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Malaisia will participate to this operation, also aiming at disarming Hezbollah.)
I probably miss something to be able to understand you?

How could the UN put France in charge after they sat back and left Hezbollah attack Israel?? It is like the fox guarding the henhouse. The UN is wasting the resources of the world trying to pretend to protect peace when it is actually harboring terrorist.

I can't understand it myself. Furthermore, If I were a French soldier and Hezbollah started firing on me I'd sure as heck want to fire back! Syria and Tehran were pretty shrewd. Syria leaves a land and then has it be the battle ground for war. Iran stopped people talking about doing away with its nuclear program. And after all this - I still can't see why the Lebanese don't want Hezbollah disarmed. Glad as heck I don't live there.

That's right, maybe we should disband the UN... The USA should take it's place to fight and "protect" freedom all over the world.
While you guys are doing that, Europe will unite fully and become the next superpower along with China and the USA will be left in a decline, both political and economic.

hahahahaha... I can imagine the french soldiers half drunk and armed with a whistle... reminds me of a mexican cop directing traffic in Tijuana, the only thing he had on him was a whistle, he was drunk and his pants were about 2 sizes too large and about to slide down.
The UN should be disbanded... there are more wackos, communists and terrorist sympathisers in the UN than normal people with brains.
