If there is something that makes everything,is in everything and everything happens through it, then seeking it makes no sense . It is god seeking god !
Therefore any idea or perception, or belief, or finding is only of a limited version, and not the real thing .In this sense not knowing and not finding is the closest the human mind can get to knowing and finding since the mind is freed from limited views or delusions.

check all your pockets, including the jacket you seldom wear and the trousers you've put into the laundry basket. Then backtrack, try to remember where you were and what you were doing. Then check the glove box in your car.

Sorry. I found god a long time ago and lost him again; am no longer seeking as I'm happy with my understanding of the world now as an atheist. I'm sure there are believers out there that will give you a more theistic answer, if you're looking for one.

Many different ways, in my case I went to a friends baptism and God just showed up, healed me of depression and filled me with the Holy Spirit, it was quite a day! I wasn't even there to look for God, I was there to support the friend I thought was deluded! The Bible is clear though , knock and the door will be opened, seek and you will find. Jesus really is at the door, but it can only be opened by us, He doesn't force His company on us. I only got the Spirit because I raised my hand when the pastor said, who wants to be blessed by Jesus? God is right there, simply pray that He will reveal Himself to you in a way you will know it's Him

Get a Bible and open it up to the New Testament. Read the Gospel According to John, a little each day, and ask God to reveal himself to you. Then go from John to the gospel of Luke and do the same. You will learn about Jesus, and he is God.

He who seeks God has already found him.

Pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you in a real way.

Seek and ye shall find.

You can't find God. He's in a place where He can't be found by anyone. But He can find you, if He sees that you are seeking Him with all your heart, humbly.

Look under the bed. Just like car keys or that red sock, she is always the last place you look.

Try finding something that exists. It is a whole lot easier.
God wants me, she can come looking for me-- I am too busy playing..
