I too am a huge Beyonce fan and I don't believe this song is about anyone in particular. However she is a business woman as well as an artist. And personally what better way to increase album sales than to monopolise on what the public likes. Society loves controversy and to discuss other people's suspected shortfalls. It's great marketing. For example, "Jay-Z Retires," We all know how that worked out, increased record sales and sold out concerts LOL. And you know I would not be all that surprised if Jay-Z helped write that song. You go Beyonce! I estimate this album will out sell the first.

Gotta be Rihanna because word is Jay-Z has been cheating on Beyonce with Rihanna....now many people keep saying oh noooooo Jay-Z and Beyonce love each other too much but whatever that guy seems to like the young girl cuz hes 37 (I think) and Beyonce is like 24 but Rihanna is like 20 or w/e but the song has to be about Rihanna...

Definitely Rihanna. She's been so jealous of that girl since she's been signed to Jay-Z's record label. Do you believe it, she got a 6 record deal? Not even Mariah Carey gets that! Something shady must be going on.

It's just a song, she hasnt wrote it for anyone and especially not Jay-Z. Jay-Z and her are still going strong and there is no cheating. Ring the Alarm is about a Man who is cheatiing but you still have "feelings" for him.. read GIANT magazine, she was on the Auguest Issue when she discusses the song.

Alot of people are saying it's about Rihanna but I personally think that it's a publicity stunt...........to get people talking!!! She probably knows that a lot of people think that Jay is after Rihanna so this is just throwing something out there to cause more gossip and hell yeah !!!.........to sell more records.
