Yeah, but save yourself some money and get the store-brand vitamins. They all work the same.

Yes, unless you have a condition that would make you sensitive to any of the nutrient in it.
Advice from a doctor: buy the cheapest vitamins you can find so long as they are verified in purity and potentcy by the American Pharmacopia (sp?) Association. Look at the small print around the bottle to find this. It'll save you a few bucks over the name brand vitamins with all the same benefits.

Yes it is perfectly safe. Most multi-vitamins do not have 100% of everything. The only thing to be cautious of is to overload on the oil soluble vitamins that can be found in them. If you are eating a diet that is high in vitamins found in oil containing foods such as fish then you should try not to over do it. Be sure to follow the manufacturers guidelines on dosing. If you have any weird or unusual symptoms then i would quit taking them.

multi vitamins are essential to be taken daily if you forego eating fresh vegetables and fruits in your meals.
even if you consumed fresh vergetables n fruits daily, the nutrients taken in are insufficient. Even doctors advised that we take multi vitamins .Not only it contains Vitamin C which strengthen your immune system, it also contains essential nutrients that are good for your bones, blood circulation skin and etc.
So my word to you is continue taking your multi vitamins. And you 'll stay away from d doctor's office ever so often.
=)

You can take as many vitamins as you want; but any that your body doesn't need will just pass through your system. Past a certain point, all you're doing is creating expensive urine.

Yes it is, but don't use it as a replacement. You still need a proper diet. If you are pregnant or suspect you are pregnant you should consult your physician as some minerals might not bode well.
