i do it all the time no probs if you do get stopped they give you 7 days to produce documents .
yes i have had a few producers over the years but you can take in to any police station within that time and get sorted.
driving without them on you or your car is not an offence not having them at all is

You will absolutely get a ticket if you drive without a license. Go for it if it's an emergency, just don't get pulled over!

Fine used to be like $10 in GA, but most Cops don't really care. As long as you have one. Unless they are having a bad day, and that means you'll get a ticket, and they might seach you, and treat you different.

Yes, I have driven without it on my person.
It would depend on the state you are in if you get fined or not or at the officers discretion. Most places can verify by computer if you have a valid license.

Not a good idea, You will get a ticket and then you will have to be in court to prove you have your driver's license, if your time is not important you have your choice. will be better to go to the DMV and get your new driver's license. they will give you a temporary and they will mail your new license in a few days. I hope this will help you.

if you ever get caught without, yes... but just try not to speed or have an accident, what's the chance of a cop pulling you over anyways? (mine is about 2X in the past 3 years)

Meh I did it a couple times, as long as you are careful with your driving you should be fine. Though I recommend that you have it on your person at all times.
