3 months is too soon. 6 months makes more sense. At 3 months you are just starting to be exclusive.

Well the first time I ever told someone I loved them I had only been with him for a month! The second time I was with him for about three months as well before I did so no I do not think it is too soon. But I never have good luck in relationships either!:P

I am in the same boat as you are. We went to college together but never really knew each other. We have been together since Memorial Day and I really love this man. But I don't want to say it too soon, because I want it to be really special when I say it and I want him to know that I mean it. I a dying to say I love you, but my when the time is right I just can't form the words. Maybe it is fear pf rejection, but we have been talking about moving away together and kids. So I guess I just don't know when to say it, but I am dying here!

Hahahaha - loved that slip!!!!! I don't believe there's a time limit. I was introducing my SO as my husband before I ever told him I loved him - and that was about 2 months after we met. I always try to think positive lol We actually did get married on Valentine's Day - 7 months after we met.

A lot depends on how much "I love you" means to you. Commitment is based on a lot more than 3 little words. Three months is a bit soon to decide that this is a lifelong relationship. At this point, "I love you" may mean you think this is a relationship that has potential to last.

no wait until you know you mean it. 3 months is not too soon if it is truly in your heart you can say it and not even think twice about it. If you are asking is 3 months too soon to know if your in love then your not because you will know.

it really depends on you as a person along with your partner... I waited about 7 or 8 months. He told me why before that, I just gave him a hug.....!!! 2 children and 7 years later here I am...
