I know this sounds totally nuts...but two very very malevelont people in my life were absolutely freaked by my gargoyle...I bought it because I thought it was cute and the stories behind it I found charming....I didn't honestly think there was anything to it..frankly I thought all that was b.s. The two people did not know each other but had the exact same reaction. I must emphasize...these were the two most...horribly spiritually bankrupt people I've ever known. I've long since ushered them both out of my life...with great effort..they don't go away easily. I'm an empath and they are quite attracted to me. I'm almost convinced one of them isn't human...that's how bad it was...I know that's not logical...but he was...*wrong*...does that make sense? Anyway...anyone have weirdo experiences like that?

no. i'm not a hippie. but kooky i'll give you. the mythology behind the gargoyle is that it wards off evil spirits...they aren't just little stone decorations. that is why i found it so interesting.

I think that if your 'friends' were creeped out by it there was a reason. I'm honestly not familiar with the folklore and mythology behind gargoyles but I'm sure that they are useful when it comes to protection. It is entirely possible that your 'friend' isn't 'human'. I would look further into gargoyle mythology to see if they had any 'natural' enemies that might explain how uncomfortable they were in its presence.

Blessings and Light!

I once had a gargoyle spirit living in my home. I think he's still around, but he only got upset when a friend of mine was suffering an unwanted attachment to a very dark inhuman spirit. she was afraid the gargoyle might attack her, but once the inhuman "tag-along" was cast out, the gargoyle became quite friendly to her.

*note, the casting out of inhuman spirits is dangerous and should be left to trained experts. do not ignore this warning!

My aunt loves gargoyles, she finds them very "attractive." I think they're pretty sweet, but I think that your little weirdo friends just thought it was creepy, or something like that...

I love gargoyles.. I don't see anything wrong with them. They always seemed to watch me as a kid though.

My mom is a bit looney regarding gargoyles. She wouldn't let me get near one as a child. I think this is very kooky....you seem a bit kooky yourself, no offense. Are you a hippie?
