I went into a town the other day and was surprised at how many potholes were in it. Why can't they keep the streets in working order??

You must have been in my town. It's like one big pothole on the streets. I keep wondering the exact same thing. With all the money we pay in property taxes, etc., why aren't they fixing the roads?

You know what surprises me? How do motorcycles not crash after hitting these pits in the road. My car gets knocked to the side because sometimes you come up on them so quick, How do the bike riders handle it? where do are taxes go if not to fix the canyons in our roads?

I live in Pennsylvania.......there are only two seasons in PA.......snowplow and road construction........everyday just backing out of my apartment building I hit a pot-hole.......there are tons of them.......with using asphault and big trucks.......they don't let it dry hard enough before they allow traffic to use it.which in turns make the roads like washboards.....we just can't use old-fashioned concrete anymore that have been around years and most roads made of concrete are in excellent shape compared to asphaulted roads which have dips and pot-holes.....
