Will they ever give in?

My Parents arnt the REALLY conservative type.. But they do have very strict limits for me.. Most of the time when i go out with friends i have to be home at 9.Its so stupid. They dont likr the way i dress either.. I dont wear black black , black...but i do have a lot of it. I wear fishnets and studded belts and what i really want to do, is get my lip pierced. My mom says ill regret it and it will be hard finding a job with it, and then she says she dont give a s*** what i do . Help?! I just want them to trust me. I want them to know when i go out im just with friends and im not doing what she thinks im doing.....well most of the time. I also want hewr to lay off me about my choice of what i choose to wear.. she thinks im depressed b/c i dress how i do..She thinks that now...HA..wait till im weraing american eagle..then she'll see what depressed is...Any Advice?

there are two sides to every story-they probably dont trust you because you havent given them a reason to. try getting better grades and make an extra effort to show them your responsible-example: when out w/ friends and your plans change to go somewhere other than originally intended, call and tell your parents...you just wanted them to know type thing. they arent going to lay off your choices because your a minor and they're the ones paying for it so be glad they let you wear the black. I was in your position when I was yonger...it gets better when you turn 18

Probably not they are just looking out for you and want the best for you. You should feel blessed that your parents set these limits with you because that means they love you.
You will understand this when you have you own children.

y dress gothic...it does make ppl depressed looking..ur probably really pretty....dont go all preppy...but do try SOME...american eagle and aeropastle...DONT shop at hot topic or spencers
