Tom Petty has garnered himself a place in our vocabulay when describing certain musicians. You see a musician, let's say Lyle Lovett, and you say... "Man, that Lyle Lovett is so Tom Petty" What this means is that if he wasn't a musician, he'd still be a virgin, because he is highly unattractive! That's how great Tom Petty is to me.
