I am a 17 year old male from Illinois, looking to further my career through college into the minor leagues, possibly to the majors one day. I currently throw three types of fastball, a curve, a slider, a sinker, and a change. I'm looking to add that final pitch to my arsenal. I was thinking a knuckle or a screwball....or another deceiving pitch....could someone hook me up with a link or website name showing the grips and execution of pitches?? Thanks

You might be better off looking into hiring a pitching coach. They can show you better than any website. Good luck!

7 pitches! Wow! You have enough. Trust me, pitching is more about location and changing speeds than being able to throw every pitch imaginable. If you have serious goals of getting to the pros, learn pitches from a coach or someone who can show you in person.

As for the screwball or knuckleball, I wouldn't recomend using those pitches. It's hard to find someone who knows it well and it is useless during a righty vs. righty matchup (or lefty vs. lefty). As for the knuckleball, that requires big hands. Wait another year or two until you are sure that you are at your full height and size. Otherwise, the pitch will be a disaster.

By the way, I know about the 2 and 4 seam fastballs, but what's the third type of fastball?

Bro, you only need three pitches to be a successful pitcher. You need an average fastball, and a good change-up, mix in an average curve and your set. Its all about studying the opponent's hitters swings and knowing where to pitch them and how to mess up their timing with off-speed. The change-up is the most underated pitch in baseball. I think that you should focus on really improving three of your pitches, 5-6 different pitches is just too much. Work on really being able to locate all three pitches and you will be successful. Look at Greg Maddux, not overpowering but has great command and is therefore very successful. In pitching it goes
1. Location
2. Movement/deception
3. Velocity

a spliter is a very unique pitch. everyone throws it a different way. make the seams in the same way as a 4-seam fastball. and hold it like a 4-seamer. then, seperate your fingers farther apart. the harder you throw the splitter, the more break you'll get on it. make sure you snap your wrist downwards though.

I dont think you should add all those pitches to your aresenal because you should make those pitches better instead of wasting your time on another. 7 pitches is enough man,

a change up is exactly like a fastball but shift your fingers to the left once.

Definitely don't try to throw a screwball. It will mess up your arm.
