It's sad that your guy friend had to pretend to be somebody he's not to get laid and even sadder that there are girls out there who are so opportunistic as to fall for such lies. Whatever happened to the good old fashioned "get to know each other better" before we hop on the sack. By her riding in the car and going into the house with him, I can understand why he thought it was consensual, but a woman only has to say "no" even without putting a fight, and it still could be considered rape. She will have a hard time proving she's a rape victim especially if she waited a few days before she reported it. It's a sticky situation. I hope your guy friend learned a lesson.

He claims it was consentual. She can try to report it, but I don't think it will come about. (how many days have gone by since this happened?).
Not for nothing, how believable is she going to be if she jumped in the sack with someone that fast. Obviously she didn't get to know this person very well before hand!

Absolutely not. Rape is rape and telling a lie is not rape. Your friend made a poor choice but it was hers to make. Just because she was lied to doesn't make it a crime. It sucks that happened but she will wish that she just chalked it up to lesson learned instead of looking at criminal charges against her instead.

She can report it, depending on the police and DA, maybe give him a few legal headaches. In the end, He'll probably be fine, doesn't sound like rape, sounds like remorse.

No, the sex was consenual. He was just a liar, and she was a sucker looking to put out for a guy she thought had money. Simple as that.

Getting played is not rape.
It just shows how shallow and really, rather evil, the girl is.

No; lying may have been wrong, but it wasn't rape since she consented to sex.
At the most, she can sue him for fraud.
