I don't get it, whenever I do even a little bit of housework, like even organizing some things in my house, washing the dishes (by hand!), I get really drowsy. My head starts to hurt a little, and if I sit down to rest I can't get up again, I just feel like I want to go to sleep... Is this normal?

You should definitely go and see a doctor. I had similar symptoms and found out that my hemagloben levels (blood-iron count) was very low. It was low to the point that I would faint. I now take Vitamin B complex and Iron (SlowFE) once a day everyday. Hope you feel better soon.

when was the last time you saw a Dr and had blood test done and your blood pressure tested? Write down your symptoms, compare what you USED to be able to do TO what you now can do. It may be a medical problem; low iron, low /high blood pressure, depression, weight gain/lost. Try to figure out when it started. With that info go see a Dr.

You know the answer to that...no, it's not normal.
You need to have a full metabolic workup, so go to your doctor and have it done. There are so many different things that could be causing your symptoms, some very serious, some not so serious...you owe it to yourself and those who love you to find out why you feel as you do and then do something about it.

I do wish you had stated more... your age....your weight.. I could go into a tirad of answers but it would depend on these two factors above.
If you are 60 plus, it sounds as if you have tired blood (iron deficiency)... I do not know if you exercise... exercising sure helps build up stamina but if you have blood problems, it would not be adviseable to do a lot of exercises. .... Frankly.. I just do not have enough information on YOU to give you any advice.

You may be anemic or have chronic fatigue syndrome or some type of neurological problem. But I am not a medical professional so I think you should call a doctor...Good Luck

i felt the same way before and decided it was my terrible sinuses and found out it was horrible anemia. i wish we could all just pick and eat some miracle berries and call it a day, but in this case a doctor is necessary... take care of yourself. it could land you in the hospital.

Do you get enough iron intake? Lack of iron causes low energy. Maybe get a multivitamen, but becarefull of getting too much vitamens ADE or K, and don't get too much calcium.

You know you ought to go and see a doctor, it could be all sorts of things, a lot of them easily treated - anaemia, depression, a virus, underactive thyroid.
