The party's entire political platform is "We're not Bush!" They turned on ther long term ally, Israel, solely because Bush supported the retaliation against Hezbollah.
When the elections kick into gear in a few weeks the masses will get tired of hearing "But he voted with Bush" and expect to hear what the democratic candidates plan to do. The silence will be deafening.
