there is no "perfect weight" for you
or me
or anyone!
it depends on your
build, your genetics--but that shouldn't be an excuse either.
fill your kitchen with healthy foods and, if you're not sure what they might be, check out a local health food store and some healthy eating lifestyles (search fitness and/or health at www.borders.com).

No one can answer that question but you. It all depends on your body type & bone structure. Like I have a muscular build. I will never in my life be that petite girl. If you don't want to give up fatty foods then don't. Just cut back. Don't eat as much or as often. Also get rid of pop. Pop is a big thing. My father drank coke all day long and just from switching to diet coke, in 2 months he lost 10 pounds. Also, try working out. Or even just going for a walk every night. They say that walking is the best form of excerise. Good Luck.

The perfect weight for you is the one you feel most comfortable with. Stop trying to pour yourself into a body that is just not "right" for you and have fun where you feel most comfortable.
Loosing weight is not hard all you have to do is give up your belief system about how hard it is to give up fatty food.. and of course exercise a bit.
I used to weigh 350 lbs and am loosing weight like crazy now that I have changed my attitudes and belief systems about weight.

There is no perfect weight, just going by your height. It also depends on your body type, and how much muscle you have in your body versus fat. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are working out and building muscle, you may not notice the scale moving much. This is not a bad thing! The best way is to measure your body with a tape measure and pay attention to how your clothes fit. And exercise! You will gradually turn your fat into muscle, and you will get smaller. Good luck!

I will not contribute to a low self esteem. However, you do control what you eat. You are also responsible for your level of activity or lack thereof. As simple and dumb sounding hint to prevent "grazing" (constant snacking between meal times) is to brush your teeth after each meal. This signals to the body that you are done eating. There is no "perfect" weight. You must be happy with you - if you are not happy, then you must provide self motivation to make the changes needed to attain that happiness.

120lb-130lb.
You'll find if you can just make that initial change in your eating habits, it will become easier over time and you will find you will stop craving fatty foods so much. It's just making the first step that will be hard, but if you have the willpower, you can do it. Good luck and take care. : )

i would say if your 5'4", around 115-125 would be a good weight. The trick to eating healthier is not the take away all sweets, but to limit them. It you quit cold turkey, you won't be able to stick to it. Try limiting it to 3 times a day at first, then tapering off from there.

I'm certain there is not a perfect weight. i am certain that the guidelines and charts can be crazy! i am 5'2" & when i went to modeling school they suggested my weight be 112, there is no way i could do that, i would look gross....of course 20 years later i look gross anyhow,
the key is moderation and of course physical activity

I'm not a heavy person by any means, but I always found walking to be the best way to lose the fat. If you get a good sweat going, that is the key to it.
