Go for lighter black in future. It'll come out a nice shade of grey, or white, but hey....

I know what you mean - I used to wear balck all the time up unitl a few years ago and am familiar with all of the goth accusations. It's basically what you feel most comfortable in. The chances are you don't feel right when wearing other colours. These days I wear most colours, but to start with try changing one of your black garments for one of a similar colour, like dark blue or brown, and get gradually lighter from there. Before you know it you'll be wearing anything regardless of colour.

You must wear clothes that are suitable for your environment. Sometimes it is useful to wear camoflage if you are hunting rabbits, deer or ducks (for example).

Dark black clothes are often worn by women in Arab countries, and so if you wanted to blend in there you might get away with it incognito.

Sure you might look like a goth, but does that make you a goth?

Don't be a wally! Wear whatever you feel like, as long as you're happy don't worry about what other people think. There's too many people wearing the same clothes as everybody else, that's what makes you an individual by wearing what YOU like.
Don't ever change, be yourself and don't give in to others.

You are inward looking and not very adventurous. Black is OK for funerals and Goths. It is nice for business and its nice to have a lttle black dress. Apart from that you will look very un-cool. But wear what you like and dont take any notice of what other people think.
Be more adventurous and go look in the fashion shop windows and mags for ideas.

To answer your question, no.

Why are you wearing black clothes though? Obviously you are being pegged as goth, and you seem shocked.

Use black in your wardrobe, but don't let it take over your wardrobe. Use some color in it too.

That is...if you really mind being called a goth.

Wear whatever you like, but watch those black clothes in summer - you're gonna fry! And what do people mean when they say "Goth"? Don't worry about other peoples' tendency to have to catagorise and compartmentalise everything! Be yourself!

Dark black eh? As opposed to the many lighter shades of black available....

So what if people call you a goth? I'm calling you semi-literate and a tad dim - at least I have evidence that it's true!

The SAS and Navy Seals wear black as well.

Don't think anyone would call them goths!

You should wear whatever you like and what makes you feel most comfortable. Don't worry what others think or say, it's your body and freespirit and if people can't accept that, then they're the ones with the problem.
