Definitely Christina Aguilera.
Marriage Wise - CHRISTINA. Christina married Jordan Bratman a music executive who seems to be very stable and a loving husband. Britney married KFed who is a wanna be rapper that will soon have four kids and doesn't seem to take care of any of them. He spends all of Britney's money and she lets him.
Career Wise - CHRISTINA. She has been making CD's, doing tours and promoting herself consistently for many years. Britney ruined her career by becoming pregnant, gaining weight, she stopped making music, and she makes herself look like an idiot by the things she does. She was not ready to become a mother. Britney is a great performer but Christina definitely has a better voice.

Christina Aguilera. Reasons, A. She can actually sing and does not have to lipsync. B. Her husband has a job and is not a gold digging attention whore. C. Her new album (bought it yesterday), is great and different from anything else out there. The media is talking about all the female artists (Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Beyonce) all releasing albums around the same time, but I think that with the exception of the Beyonce albums (which could be really good too), non of the others really matter. After hearing the Back to Basics album, I will say this, if there ever was a Christina/Britney rivalry, Britney is currently crying her eyes out over cheetos and twinkies.

Christina wins in the marriage competition, simply because her husband appears to be much more mature and responsible than Kevin.
Career wise Britney has had the bigger career up until this point, although Christina does have the better voice. Britney is definitely a better performer than Christina and has been able to market herself better and broader. She also doesn't have the negative attitude that Christina does which makes her more likeable.
However, Britney doesn't seem too career-oriented right now, whereas Christina is about to release a new album. So while right now I'd say that Britney has been more successful careerwise Christina will probably have a longer career because Britney seems to be fading (in terms of her career) and doesn't seem all that interested in coming back.

Christina AGuilara she has a better voice though in the beginning of Britney Spears career she was waaaayyyy more popular as a singer when britney was youn and did that sort of pop then she changed and had problems. Christina sings good and meaningful songs and has a great voice.
