I have only seen the video once, but.... maybe when he sees the girl lying in the road (the distraction) he sees that maybe because of his lifestyle (in crime) could actually cost him the life or well being of his girlfriend. So he wants to give up the life of crime, for her. To be better person for her. Because the reason is her?
