I'm going to cuba on the 4th of september and wondered if anybody had been in early september before and could tell me what the weather might be like when i travel? Will it be possible to get a sun tan and sit outside at the beach bar? Will i get rained on? Will there be a massive hurricane while i'm there?

Great, one of the best month to go to Cuba. My family is there the weather is great it not hot as in augost maybe 30-32 grades, and the prices for hotels are great at this time, I think that the best company for hotels, transfer, representant assist and some others is www.ihtworld.com.

Weather In Cuba In September

Well first of all it's not really close to the equator (it's almost on the Tropic of Cancer), Cancun is closer to the Equator than Cuba and it's not close either, but I digress... It should be in the upper 80's lower 90's while you're there, perfect weather to lay out and get a nice tan on the beach. The rain might happen, after all it's in the Caribbean, you might get a very small amount of rain (more like a 5 minute rain) each day but really not much at all. As for a hurricane, I wish I could help you out on this one but I don't know when they're gonna happen ever...I wish I could tell you because I'll be in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic a week after you're in Cuba. Hope you have a blast!!

Beautiful as it is all year round. It may be slightly cooler at night. But you can still swim and enjoy the warmth of the sun...and you'll get a great tan. The average temperature is about 24C and the water temp is about 25C....but average. So it can be hotter. Riki mentioned he goes around the time of year a lot and loves it...as do many others. Have a great time in Cuba. You will really enjoy it.

Hate to say it but it is part of hurricane season - although the odds are quite low....

It should be lovely and hot - your almost guaranteed a sun tan any time of the year!!!!

You might get a bit of rain but it will still be warm - a bit like being in the shower!

Hope that helps - I'll have just moved to havana at that time so message me if you wanna chat about anything - have loads of info

I've been there in September and October. The weather is fabulous as long as a hurricane doesn't hit. We took our chances and had a great time and got a good tan. Have fun!!

Its pretty warm out there all year around. After all, it isn't that far from the equator!
We went there in April , Hotel Paradisus in Varadero. Absolutlely amazing!
The people are great, the weather is always nice and the beaches are to die for!!
I recomend doing the excursions that your travel agent recommend BUT dont veer from that and go on excursions arranged elsewhere. Do as much as poss via your travel agent or ask your rep for advice while out there!
Best Holiday I ever had, you will love it!!

Warm. But not as hot as in summer, especially the water is cooler, sometimes cool wind or some rain. But usually warm weather, swimming, beach and outdoor fine. T-Shirt in daytime and a sweater in the evening. I don't know what Canadian summers are alike, but it reminded me a German summer ;-))
