If the girls are up for rough play then yeah of course. I played for a boys team before and i liked it. I got tougher and it made me a better player. I am really sick of people thinking that boys are the great soccer players. Girls are just as good and could play with the boys just as good.

yes for sure.
My son is 15 and has a mixed girl and boys team. The girls are not scared to go in for the ball or even to tackle.
The boys on the team don't leave them out either.
they all play as a team.
Although they have played for about 3 years together now.

our local school just now started a separate girls soccer team. before that, they were playing together. so, i guess they can play together. although, if there were a lot of girls on the co-ed team, no offense to girls bc I am one, but I don't think it would be as exciting to watch compared to just an all boys team. just my opinion though. i just like watching boys team more.

i think from a young age to maybe mid-teen they can....but once they reach a certain age, you cant deny the fact that anatomically, males have more muscle mass than females and therefore are more powerful. now, i know that alot of people will say that women are perfectly capable of playing with males but im thinking on a biological basis....males are built differently and have more/stronger muscles.
at the pro level, i think its a terrible idea to try to combine both male and females on a team. its just not fair. females have their own clubs and teams where they can play with other competitive males and females.
in this sport, i think its better to keep things separate.

No and it's not because I feel girls are weaker or anything like that. It's just because I believe that girls are too small and can not physically compete with men over 6 feet tall and over 200 lbs.

Why not. It's only an issue in the top flight where the men are obviously physically stronger than the women - on average.

yes, but not in a real match, i mean boys and girls can play together in a school or so. but the boys should know that shes a girl and not tackle hard or such.
