In my opinion the loses are the people of Lebanon & northern Israel, and maybe, one day, the rest of Israel .. but not Hesbollah, who are now proclaimed as heroes in Arab & Muslim nations all over the World .. and of course not Bush or Blair, for whom every attack by the so called terrorists - even those motivated by opposition to their policies - is a further vindication of their war on terror. And not the Israel Defence Forces. Faced with emboldened enemies, they can demand more resources and greater powers. The generals did not intend to lose, but even this disaster has done them no harm. It has made the Israeli ppl. less secure, therefore more inclined to vote for those who promise to defend them.
WHAT IS YOUR OPINION??

I think the only losers are the politicians who thought that defeating Hezbollah will be easy, And who thought that Lebanese people will turn against Hezbollah after they suffer for too long.
Before the war, many people believed that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization (which is not true). After the war people has seen that Hezbollah fights for his own country's freedom.
Before that war Israeli leaders were so proud and arrogant and they were proud that Israeli cities has never suffered during any war before, Now after the war Israeli leaders realized that they will pay a valuable price for any war they wage and Israeli citizens also realized this, Israeli people are no longer safe in Israel during wars.
Now every Arab realized that Israeli army is not impossible to defeat, And they can be defeated like they were defeated in 1973.
So who really lost in this war?

The future is the loser for this war has failed and future seems gloomy. A war will break out within 20 years of the withdrawal of Israel forces between at least Israel and Lebanon. I prophecize that.

I agree, the Israelis lose in the long term because they are only cultivating more hatred in the middle east and dislike with the rest of the world who plainly see their heavy handed tactics causing death to so many innocent civilians.

This would depend on how much value you put on being heroes of the Arab world. Anyone that kills a Jew is a hero to the Arabs. They are not fostering more hate, there coudn't possibly be MORE hate. So, basically I say that all the people that died lost and no one won. It's the status quo.

I can only hope in the end it is the Islamic fascists who wish to make me believe in their Allah, when there is no such god. I would rather die fighting than submit to Allah and the fascists who are pushing him on the rest of the world.
