I am looking for more information on a Plankinton, SD bank located at 101 N. Main Street. It is now the Bucher Law Office building.

Perhaps your county government can give you a starting point. Where I live (Pennsylvania), the county has an elected official called the Recorder of Deeds, whose office looks after property deeds. You could try to obtain a copy of the deed for that building.
