EWW! My upstairs neighbors!?

this is so gross. every night i have to listen to my upstairs neighbors having s*x! and the walls are so thin its like they are in the other room jumping up and down on the bed.. i hear the girl moaning and it is SOOO disgusting! ewwww.. how am i going to sleep at night with that in my head? no, i swear, i'm not trying to be nasty or anything i just really NEED HELP

Stop and think about it for a minute.
If you can hear them, they can hear you just as well.
So when they are going at it, imitate the noises that they make.
It'll stop fast enough.
Or the alternative is to wait until they are done and then yell out "four minutes. A new record!"

I would leave an anonymous note on their front door telling them that they are disturbing those around them with their sexual encounters and see if that brings any relief....and if it doesn't, I would go talk to them in person and just pretend that there have been other neighbors that you have talked to that have disturbed by this same thing (like the one that left the note!) If THAT doesn't work, try calling the police, because whether it's loud music, fighting, or having noisy sex...after a certain time of the night it IS considered disturbing the peace. Or it is here in Texas anyways. Hope that helps

I had the same problem for awhile...sex is not disgusting and neither is the moaning...you do it right....is it nasty on a porn flick? If you don't want to hear it put some ear plugs or ear muffs on your ears before sleeping....leave the TV or radio on when you fall asleep...or get revenge and get your man and have sex after they done to make em see how it feels to hear it from you....or move out...or switch your apt or whatever you live in.

When my husband and I were first married, we lived in a townhouse. The walls were thin and our bedroom was butted up against the woman's bedroom who lived next door to us. She was in her 50's and her boyfriend would come over and they would go at it. The noise she made made her sound like a LOUD drill. Just pick up the telephone and call your upstairs neighbors while they are having sex and tell them you can hear them.

You could try playing music, and using head phones to keep out the sound. Or just plain ear plugs. Maybe you could report the noise to your landlord. You don't have to tell him/her what the noise is. Just that they are very noisy at night and keeping you awake.

Have you tried talking to them? My neighbors do that too only they wait until around 4am. Since I asked them to keep it down a notch I have not heard much of it. If that doesn't work file a noise complaint with the apartment complex.

Tell your landlord about it, you have a right to sleep in your own place if you are paying rent. Does it last all night? Or maybe politely tell them that you can hear them and kinda laugh about it a little, make it a joke.

Turn your radio on really really loud. Maybe if they hear your radio everytime they - ahhemmm - they'll get the picture that maybe you can hear them and they'll quiet down. Unless they're into that sort of thing, in which case you'll just have to keep the radio on! Good luck! ;)

I had the same problem in my apartment. And these people were not only vigorous (the bed is slamming against the wall), she was a screamer.

Go talk with the girl about it chances are she doesn't realize how loud they are being. And if that doesn't work turn a radio on not loud enough to disturb anybody but loud enough for you to go to sleep
