Small man syndrome, and cichlids are very more aggresive then oscars

Parrot fish are a cross between two south american cichlids, and they are highly territorial.

Due to the deformed mouth, it is very difficult for a parrot cichlid to harm large fish, but they will try to bite them and head but them.

They really are bullying, they are establishing territory against two fish that are not nearly as territorial.

How big is your tank? T okeep those together you should really have a 55 gallon tank as both will get quite large - Oscars get 16-20 inches and I've seen parrot cichlids the size of a small dinner plate.

In due time, your Oscar would probably eat the cichlid. Ive seen oscars grow to be close to the size of a college football. Chichlids are classified as aggressive fish...they will learn not to mess with the oscar the hard way

Cichlids are very aggresive fish. Should only be kept with bigger fish because they will nip fins, fight, and sometime kill other fish so be carefull!
