It is one of the best movies I've ever seen! Phillip Seymore Hoffman is especially brilliant as a hospice nurse, he is so caring and pained and I still cry everytime during his final scenes even though I've probably seen the movie 10 times. Also good is Tom Cruise in what I think is the role closest to his own personality that I've ever seen. The acting is amazing, the screenplay is unique, refreshing and disturbing all at the same time, and the characters are memorable. Definately a MUST SEE!!

It is brilliant. It is also incredibly off beat so be prepared for something that is not your typical movie. People either love it or hate it but I will say I think Tom Cruise, although not a favorite actor, was robbed of an Oscar that year. Like it or not I think everyone should see it because it is a great conversation piece.

I saw it a while ago and loved it. It is a really strange movie, but I loved it anyway. Tom Cruise's and Julianne Moore's characters are just amazing.
