Do you mean a searchbar by the address bar? If you do, right click with the cursor over the searchbar and it will show you your available toolbars and uncheck what you don't want up.

Searchbar manual removal is not easy but you can remove it if you have good knowleadge about the registry entries section and paths. But try this one , this is definitely help you to erase the searchbar. This software is free for download and help you to find out the all entries of this spyware.

If its a yahoo search bar on their main page you double click on the bar itself, it bring up all your searches that you made. Than press the down arrow key on your keyboard once and press the "delete" button. Repeat this process for every search you need to delete.

Well first of all... what kinda of toolbar are you talking about? But i am assuming its like a google toolbar or a yahoo toolbar... well you just go to control panel - add or remove programs - then you just remove the whatever kind of tool bar it is...

Unistall it from your system. Icon from control showing ad or remove program (ie. Yahoo search toolbar and goggle, etc.)

I'd recommend downloading "free adaware", it will clean it up. I will search and kill the spy crap associated with most of these hijackers..
